BUDELLI, Even from afar, it displays its entire beauty with sensational colours. Budelli is one of the brightest gems of the Maddalena Archipelago, famous for its turquoise waters and for the Spiaggia Rosa, the Pink Beach, one of the most beautiful beaches of the Mediterranean. Its pink colour is derived from ground shelled microorganisms called Miniacinia miniacea, that live among the posidonia and are transported to the beach by the current

MANTO DELLA MADONNA, or Saint Mary Port in English, is called also Manto della Madonna, that means Saint Mary’s Mantle in English, or even natural pool, the lagoon and in the past also the salt lake. This stretch of sea enclosed between the islands of Budelli, Razzoli and Santa Maria is considered one of the most beautiful marine areas in the world.

LA MADDALENA,is the largest town in the Maddalena archipelago, just 2 kilometres (1 mile) from the northeastern shore of Sardinia and sitting in the Strait of Bonifacio, between it and Corsica. The focal-point of pedestrian activity is around Piazza Umberto I (formerly known as Piazza Comando-the older generation of natives in town still commonly refer to the piazza by its original name). There is an adjacent via (Garibaldi) that connects the port (Banchina Commerciale I) facing the Island of Santo Stefano and Piazza Umberto I with city hall. Via Garibaldi is surrounded by commercial shops, restaurants, and bars.

CAPRERA, is the second largest island of the Maddalena Archipelago and one of the islands of Maddalena National Park, located in the northern part of Sardinia. Characterized by beautiful natural beaches and the typical Mediterranean vegetation, Caprera is also an important place in Italian history.
